Jaxon Jurome & Professional Dancer, Mackenzie Denis, put on an exciting performance at the 2023 Swinging with the Stars Fundraiser to support the Central Okanagan Hospice Association. A magical evening at the Delta Grand in Kelowna BC, the community came together & raised $535,000 to support those living with serious illness & those in need of COHA’s grief & bereavement services.

His mission is to raise $50,000 for COHA’s programs & services by February 25, 2023 while learning how to dance for a ONE NIGHT ONLY performance at a fundraising event LIKE NO OTHER!

How you can help?

1. DONATIONS:
Quick & easy, donations can be made via Jaxon’s Fundraising Page on the Central Okanagan Hospice Associations Website. Every donation makes a difference & every donation comes with a tax receipt.

  1. Donations over $1,000 will receive a small complimentary print signed and framed by Jaxon.

  2. Donations over $5,000 will receive a custom original painting. Limited availability remains.

2. AN ELEGANT EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT:
Jaxon has been paired up with a local profession dance partner. 6 months of training will be put to the test in a fulfilled competition against other local celebrity/professional teams. Watch it all unfold, LIVE IN PERSON.

The Why?

For over 40 years, the Central Okanagan Hospice Association has been a recognized pillar of strength & hope in our community providing compassion, comfort and support through life’s most difficult moments. COHA’s services improve quality of life, can benefit everyone and come at no cost thanks to the generous supporters and donors in our community. From families to individuals, people rely COHA’s services where they need it and when they need it. COHA is committed to creating a supportive community where no one has to die or grieve alone while enabling those living with terminal illness to live life to the fullest.

Jaxon’s aim with supporting COHA’s Swinging with the Stars event is to raise awareness and funds for what he believes is a critical resource for our community. By learning to dance, Jaxon hopes to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone, try new things & support their community! Dancing does wonders for our mental health and can bring us great joy during tough times. So with that…Let’s get out on the dance floor and support COHA!
